ADHESIVE TAPE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive tape having a low thermal shrinkage percentage in adhesive coating, a high tensile strength at break and hand-tearing properties in the width direction of the tape and to provide a method for producing the adhesive tape. SOLUTION: This adhesive tape comprises a substrate and a adhesive agent layer. The substrate is composed of a uniaxially drawn sheet constituted of at least a layer consisting of an ethylene-based polymer and a layer consisting of a crystalline olefin-based layer and has <=8% thermal shrinkage percentage (110 deg.C). The substrate is preferably constituted of at least three layers comprising an intermediate layer made of the ethylene-based intermediate layer and both outer layers made of the crystalline olefin-based polymer.
