PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of executing an operation for supplying ink to an ink tank without stopping a printing operation of a print head. SOLUTION: Levels of inks are grasped by means of sensors 23, 24, 25 for detecting the levels of the inks in ink tanks 4, 5. By maintaining each of the levels of the inks in a predetermined range, an inner section of a print head 205a (205b) is maintained in a negative pressure. As a result, it is possible to execute an operation for supplying ink to the ink tank even when the print head 205a (205b) is driven. |
