PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus excellent in the discharge properties of fine bubbles attached to the inner surface of the ink supply passage of a manifold in purge treatment. SOLUTION: A manifold 40 supplying an ink liquid from an ink cartridge 50 is provided to an ink jet head 31 having a large number of jet channels 33 in two rows and has the connection part 44 connected to an ink cartridge 50 and the ink supply passage 43 expanded from the connection part 44 toward the row end formed by the ink supply ports 33a of a large number of the arranged jet channels 33 and surrounding the ink supply ports 33a and a float 46 as a guide member guiding the ink liquid supplied from the connection part 44 along the inner surface of the expanded part is provided to the expanded part 45. |
