PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a small internal combustion engine where a fuel pump discharges or feeds fuel intermittently to a fuel injection valve, by suppressing a fluctuation in pressure of the fuel fed to the fuel injection valve as well as an increase in temperature of this fuel and thus improving the accuracy of the fuel injection valve in metering this fuel for injection. SOLUTION: The fuel supply system includes a fuel injection valve 43 for feeding by injecting pressurized fuel 41 into an internal-combustion engine body 4, and an intermittent-discharge fuel pump 47 for pressuring fuel 41 and feeding it to the fuel injection valve 43 via a fuel passage 46. An accumulator 48 is further provided in communication with the fuel passage 46 leading from the fuel pump 47 to the fuel injection valve 43. |
