PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a nozzle regardless of kinds of an immersion nozzle and a continuous caster and to effectively avoid the development of blow hole defect. SOLUTION: At the time of supplying molten Cr-containing steel deoxidized with Al or Al and Ti into continuous casting, the casting is executed in the range of satisfying the following formula related to through-put of the molten metal, basicity of slag in a ladle and gas blowing rate in the immersion nozzle. B<=2×A/V. Wherein, B is the gas blowing rate in the immersion nozzle (Nl/min), A is the through-put of the molten steel (t/min) and V is the basicity of slag in the ladle (=(wt.% CaO)/(wt.% SiO2 )).
