<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device capable of simultaneously performing after-processing when interruption is generated during the after- processing operation. SOLUTION: The paper sheet processing device for stapling paper sheets for every specified number of paper sheets after receiving the paper sheets discharged from a discharging part of an image forming device or for stacking the paper sheets on a discharge tray without stapling is provided with first, second and third after-processing parts 1, 2 and 3 each of which is formed by the combination of a staple mechanism and a discharge tray. When interruption is generated while after-processing is performed in the first after-processing part 1, after-processing to an interrupted document is performed by making use of the second after-processing part 2. If there is a paper sheet in the second after-processing part 2, the second after-processing part is switched to the third after-processing part 3.</p> |
