<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for continuously measuring white liquid in order to improve the quality of pulp and decrease the measurement man-hours. SOLUTION: In the chemicals-recovering cycle that comprises the dissolving means into which chips and white liquor are charged, boiled at elevated temperature under high pressure to dissolve the cellulose and lignin constituting the chips, the concentration means in which the black liquor taken out of the dissolving means is concentrated, the combustion means in which the black liquor is combusted, the green liquid formation means in which the green liquor is formed from the smelt from the combustion means, the causticization means in which sodium carbonate in the green liquor is converted to caustic soda, and the causticized white liquor is charged into the continuous digesters, a sampling means is provided to sample a part of the white liquor and the alkali components included in the white liquor are continuously monitored with the analyzing means.</p> |
