PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs and maintenance costs as well as to avoid leaving on the ground. SOLUTION: The optical cable reel 1 is provided with a band and can be mounted on a structure such as an electric light pole. Instead of a conventional connector, a terminal side connector box 22 is provided on a terminal part 14 of an optical cable 4, and a tip side connector box 23 is provided at a tip part 15. The tip side connector box 23 is taken out from the terminal side connector box 22 in extending the optical cable, and it is housed in the terminal side connector box 22 in connecting to the terminal side connector box 22. The connection is performed by using a terminal side connector and a tip side connector provided on respective boxes.
