PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent water resistance, weather resistance and wear resistance by providing an ink acceptive layer made of a cation modified resin and an epoxy compound on one side surface of a card-like support, and heating to cure the layer after an image is formed, thereby upgrading its resolution and color developability. SOLUTION: After an ink acceptive layer 2 made of a cation modified resin and an epoxy compound is formed on a support 1, an image is formed on the layer 2 by an ink jet printer. Then, the layer 2 is heated, and cured to a state of an ink acceptive layer 2'. As a result, a card and the like having excellent water resistance, wear resistance and stain resistance is obtained even without using a treatment such as laminating or the like after the recording. The layer 2 is constituted by a cation modified acrylic copolymer, a cation modified resin such as cation modified polyvinylalcohol and an epoxy compound. As an embodiment of the epoxy compound, polyglycerol polyglycidyl ether or the like is used. |
