1,259,695. View-finders; transparency viewers. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Jan. 23, 1969 [Jan. 24, 1968], No. 3880/69. Heading G2A. A camera is provided with a combined viewfinder transparency viewer. As shown, when used as a view-finder, lenses 10, 11 contained in a camera housing C, are utilized. When used as a transparency viewer, a transparency (19) Fig. 2 (not shown) is inserted into a slot 21 and pivots a mount M anti-clockwise about a pin 12 so that light entering a window 22 and passing through the transparency is directed by a mirror 15 and a lens 14 to the eye-piece 11. The mirror 15 may be semi-silvered so that a transparency and a scene to be photographed may be viewed simultaneously. A spring 18 returns the mount M on removal of the slide. Guide stops 18, 23 may be provided.
