<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of frontward falling of a paper feeding device and paper feeding failure caused as paper feeding cassettes on a plural number of vertical stages are simultaneously drawn out. SOLUTION: A stopper 28 along side parts of upper and lower paper feeding cassettes 22 free to insert and extract in the longitudinal direction is provided free to vertically move in a cassette storage part of a device main body 19, a positional holding means 29 to hold this stopper 28 in an intermediate part of a vertically moving range, cam members 30a-30c to move the stopper member 28 in accordance with extraction of the paper feeding cassettes 22 are provided in the neighbourhood of an end part of the stopper member 28 against each of the paper feeding cassettes 22, and a movement restraining member 31 to restrain return movement of the stopper member 28 is provided on the paper feeding cassettes 22 by connecting it to the cam members 30a-30c.</p> |
