PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically sort out and store press plates made up by a plate- making machine in plural storage devices, and eliminate erroneous storage of the press plates in the storage devices, and at the same time, save the trouble to sort out/store and confirm (checking an output). SOLUTION: Identification information on a printing press assigned from among plural printing presses 5A-5D and identification information including address numbers a1-a40 for storage boxes are imparted to press plates S made up by at least a single plate-making machines 1A-1D by an identification information imparting means 7. Next, when the press plates S are conveyed by conveyance means 13A, 13B, the identification information is read using an identification information reading means 11 and the press plates S are sorted out and stored in storage regions 29 corresponding to the address numbers a1-a40 of storage devices 21A-21D assigned by the conveyance means 13A, 13B based on the address numbers a1-a40 for the storage devices 21A-21D. At the same time, the presence of the press plates S is checked using an ON signal from a sensor 31 provided in each of the storage regions 29. |
