PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground consolidation-improving agent which is added to fine sand grounds or gravelly grounds containing humic organic acids and/or clay minerals having cation-adsorbing and exchanging abilities in large amounts to improve the grounds, such as to prevent liquefaction or to prevent sliding breakage, and which has an arbitrary agent liquid life, to provide a suspension type grout agent, and to provide a method for improving grounds by using the same. SOLUTION: This ground consolidation-improving agent comprises 30-85 wt.% of the below-described bentonite-containing hydraulic particles (a) or (b), 20-50 wt.% of particulate slaked lime, and 5-20 wt.% of a water-soluble sulfate. (a) Bentonite-containing hydraulic particles. (b) Bentonite-containing hydraulic particles obtained by mixing bentonite particles with one or more kinds of pozzolan-reactive particles selected from the group consisting of water- granulated slag particles, fly ash particles, cement particles and metakaolin particles in a bentonite particle: pozzolan-reactive particle mixing ratio of 100:1 to 1:100. |
