INTERFACIAL DETERGENT COMPRISING BINARY AZEOTROPE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interfacial detergent capable of washing out and removing hydrophobic, hydrophilic or amphoteric contaminant adhered to the surface of lens, a compact disc (CD), etc., without corroding their surfaces. SOLUTION: This interfacial detergent comprises an azeotrope in which at least two components comprising water and n-propyl alcohol are uniformly blended in a weight ratio of (28/72)-(30/70). The azeotrope has an azeotropic point of 87.65±2 deg.C at ordinary temperature and pressure. The interfacial detergent comprising an azeotrope is prepared by blending water with n-propyl alcohol in a weight ratio of (28/72)-(30/70) so as for the azeotrope to have an azeotropic point (at ordinary temperature and pressure) of 87.65±2 deg.C.
