PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always supply a constant volume of fluid from respective branch pipes without any influence of the opening and closing motions of a filling valve in a filling method and device having a plurality of lines branched off from a main pipe. SOLUTION: A flow rate meter 4 and a filling-up valve 5 are equipped in a plurality of branch pipes 3 branched off from a main pipe 1 respecively. A specified quantity of liquid measured by respective flow rate meters 4 is discharged from respective branch pipes 3 to charge the liquid into containers 6 by opening charging valves 5 for a specified time. In this case, an outflow volume Qoi flowing out after a closing command of the charging valve 5i of an objective branch pipe 3i is previously estimated, taking the turbulenceΔhij of the head of the objective branch pipe 3i caused by opening or closing motions of the charging valves 5j installed in the branch pipes 3j other than the objective branch pipe 3i in a plurality of branch pipes 3 into consideration, and before a volume charged in the container 6 reaches a target value, the charging valve 5i of a branch pipe 3i is closed in a preset closing timing on the basis of an estimated fluid volume Qoi.
