PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent method for producing a feed additive composition for a ruminant, excellent in biological physical properties (a protecting property in the first stomach and an elution property in the fourth stomach) and also capable of easily producing. SOLUTION: This method for producing a feed additive for a ruminant, is obtained by uniformly mixing (a) lysine magnesium phosphate as a biologically active substance, (b) magnesium oxide, (c) a fusible binder and (d) water required for an extrusion granulation and extrusion-granulating the mixture at a temperature not generating the deterioration of the fusible binder, or uniformly mixing (a) lysine magnesium phosphate, (b) magnesium oxide, (c) the fusible binder and feeding the uniform mixture for granulating into an extrusion granulator, while blowing (d) water thereto in front of a die, drying the obtained particles under a condition for releasing the water contained therein as a team to make the structure of the particles as a porous ones and simultaneously impregnating the pores therein with the presenting fused state binder, and coating the dried particles with a coating agent. |
