The spine of the magazine (1) is inserted through a gap in a support wall (3) and the fold edge is pressed up against a stop block (7). This action causes the upper and lower halves (5, 6) to move apart (A, B) leaving an opening ((8). A pointed blade is inserted in the opening (8). When fully inserted, the blade lifts the magazine by the spine. The blade is twisted to open the center-fold and allow insertion.
