PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a synthetic resin pipe with air pressure expanded by heating so as to be in strong contact with the inner surface of a metal pipe by blocking both the ends of the synthetic resin pipe before the introduction in a heating oven. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin pipe 12 having a heat expansion property is characterized in the expanded diameter caused by heating and slightly longer length than a metal pipe. An adhesive is applied to the outer surface of the synthetic resin pipe 12 which is then inserted in the metal pipe. The adhesive is also generally applied to the inner surface of the metal pipe. A method for manufacturing a composite pipe is to block both the ends of the synthetic resin pipe 12 before the introduction into a V-type heating oven. The blocking method of the pipe ends is, for example, to adhesively fix a cap 6 with the adhesive, and to crush the heated pipe ends of the synthetic resin 12 by a pressing machine. When they are crushed by the pressing machine, the crushing rate of the synthetic resin pipe 12 can be adjusted. |
