PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a supplementation speed and smoothly supplement to use up an ink in a supplement tank by constituting an ink chamber of a first tank and a recording head to be connectable by a diaphragm and setting an ink supplement means which can supplement the ink from a second tank into the ink chamber. SOLUTION: In the apparatus in which an ink chamber 1103 is formed in a case 1101, a recording head 1105 is partitioned by a diaphragm 1104 and ink drops are discharged from nozzles 1106, a back flow prevention valve 1109 is set at an opening hole 1107 of the diaphragm 1104. A second tank 1200 corresponding to a tank 1100 holds in an outer case 1202 an ink bag 1201 storing each ink separately and can connect a nozzle 1203 to a communication means 1300. An injection needle 1102 projecting at the tank 1100 is faced to the communication means 1300 in a manner so that the needle can penetrate a rubber seal 1302 of a reciprocative coupling instrument 1301. A rack gear tooth 1303 and a gearwheel 1304 of the communication means are meshed with each other and the other end of a flexible tube 1306 engaged with a communication nozzle 1305 is inserted to the nozzle part 1203, so that both tanks are connected. |
