C. engine fuel injection control system, fuel under relatively low, constant pressure is fed to a solenoid valve 12, (controlled by a control circuit 10 to determine the injection quantity), and thence to a pressure increasing piston/cylinder 21, 22, so that the fuel can be injected directly into the engine via check valve 25. The cam 23 is driven by the engine. When applied to a multi-cylinder engine, Fig. 2 (not shown) a solenoid valve 12 is provided for each engine cylinder or group of cylinders and a distributor is provided between the control circuit 10 and the valves 12. |
