PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester composition having small amount of cracked particles, and useful for producing a highly transparent and slippery film by including inert fine particles having average bearing force against compression pressure within a specific region. SOLUTION: The objective composition comprises (A) a polyester preferably of an aromatic polyester composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (e.g. terephthalic acid) as a principal acid component, and an aliphatic glycol (e.g. ethylene glycol) as a principal glycol component, and (B) 0.01-10 wt.%, preferably 0.01-5 wt.% inert fine particles having average bearing force A against compression pressure satisfying the formula 0.1<=C×(A×B)<0.5> <=20 [A is the average bearing force against the compression pressure (MPa); B is an average particle diameter of compressed particles (μm); C is a pore volume (ml/g)] based on the weight of the component A. Preferably, the average particle diameter of the component B is 0.01-5μm, and the pore volume is 0.05-2 ml/g. The constituent of the component B is preferably porous silica particles or the like.
