PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a readily silicone-bonding white polyester film excellent in adhesion to a silicone layer. SOLUTION: This readily silicone-bonding white polyester film is obtained by forming a cross-linked primer layer comprising a silane coupling agent and alkaline inorganic fine particles in an amount of 1-50 wt.% based on the silane coupling agent on at least one surface of a biaxially oriented polyester film comprising a polyester containing >=1 and <3 wt.% of an aliphatic hydrocarbon- based polymeric material and 10-25 wt.% of barium sulfate particles having 0.1-4μm average particle diameter and having 1.31-1.45 g/cm<3> apparent density and 10-22% void content.
