PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin cleaning composition excellent in foaming property, temporal stability, restoration from low-temperature storage and creaming property of foams, good in feeling after washing and having excellent efficiency of washing of stain and make. SOLUTION: This cleaning composition is composed of (a) 0.1-20 wt.% of a metallic soap fine particles having the difference between 30% particle diameter RA and 70% particle diameter RC, i.e., RC-RA of 3μm or less, or the difference between 50% particle diameter RB and 95% particle diameter RD, i.e., RD-RB of 6μm or less, and (b) 5-50 wt.% of a fatty acid salt expressed by R<1> CCOM<1> (R<1> CO is a 8-20C acyl group; M<1> is an alkali metal atom, ammonium, an organic ammonium or a cationic residue of a basic amino acid).
