Compounds of essential trace elements are dissolved in liquid whey products (pref. whey concentrates) at pH 3-7 (pref. 5-7). The products can be dehydrated and converted into free-flowing powder by addition of a water-binding carrier. Uniform distribution of trace elements in a physiologically acceptable form of complexes with whey components is attained. |
