PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an edible salt enabling an iron component to be daily and continuously ingestible, and capable of supplying the iron component by including a common salt and a component of a food additive containing iron. SOLUTION: This edible salt comprises salt such as a common salt, and a component of a food additive containing iron such as ferric chloride, or comprises the salt and a heme iron-containing component such as the heme iron obtained from the blood hemoglobin of an animal. The edible salt is obtained, for example, by mixing 990.0 g common salt with 10.0 g powdery ferrous sodium citrate by a desk-top blender. |
