FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: foot orthesis is designed for treatment of spastic platypodia in combination with outer talipes. Orthesis represents closed plastic foot with closing mechanism which forms external rigid member in Schopart joint and in anterior talocalcanean joint in shape of circular orthesis resistant to twisting. Plastic casing with its somewhat drawn-up patch-like and especially rigid supporting zone rests on distal part of calf-bone (on outer malleolus), and stretches over talocalcanean and calcaneocuboid joints on rear side of foot in proximal direction. Plastic casing arthrodezises these joints form the outside. Proximal edge of plastic casing is positioned below internal malleolus In addition, plastic casing is provided with cut-out in pelmatic section of heel bone. EFFECT: improved design. 12 cl, 6 dwg
