The present invention relates to a method that involves generating on a screen the image of an at least three-dimensional space using an axonometric projection of the axes of its co-ordinates system. The method further involves generating the image of an object in said space and displacing the object image therein. The object is displaced by performing a drag-and-drop operation directly onto the object. An additional object is further generated for visualising the displacement direction, and has its image arranged in the same space and correlated with that of the object. During the displacement of the object, the method involves calculating the values of the vectors corresponding to the elementary displacements of the mouse, interpreting the vector sequence thus obtained as the object displacement within the space, and displacing the object as well as the additional object according to this interpretation. |
