A first static process related to a signalling link receives a restart message from a user. Said static process will create at least a first dynamic process and forward the restart message to said first dynamic process. Said dynamic process will send a restart message to all dynamic processes related to said first static process in parallel. The dynamic processes which are involved in the restart will release their associated resources and send a message to said first dynamic process indicating the fact. The dynamic processes not involved in the restart will send a message to said first dynamic process indicating this.
