The invention concerns a storage cabinet comprising a shelf which can be manoeuvred in translation outside the caisson. Said cabinet is characterised in that the means for manoeuvring the shelf (2) comprise a rotary drum (6, 8) housed in the caisson (4), on the cage (6) of which drum is fixed one strap (10, 10') end and the other end thereof being fixed to the shelf (2), such that the shelf (2) is manoeuvred by rotating the cage (6) counter to the shelf (2) weight, either in a first rotating direction to accompany the shelf (2) in a lowering movement while maintaining it, or in a second rotating direction for lifting the shelf (2). |
