The invention is directed to a method and a system for carrier frequency recovery, especially for TFM signal receiver structures. In a method according to the invention, the length of a sample difference vector is compared against the length of a difference vector resulting from the decision of data. When the result of the comparison is combined with an observation of the direction of the sample difference vector, a result corresponding to the carrier frequency error is obtained. |
