PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus, an ink jet recording method and an ink jet recording head constituted so as to arbitrarily alter the diameter of emitted liquid droplets by reversively controlling the emitting orifice parts of liquid droplets to water-repellent or hydrophilic states without requiring highly fine processing technique. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording apparatus equipped with a recording head 1 having ink emitting orifices A and the ink flow channel 5 to each of the ink emitting orifices A and the ink emitting energy generating means 31 provided in the ink flow channel 5, a stimulation imparting means and a stimulation removing means are provided and, further, the inner wall surface from at least the ink emitting orifice A of the recording head 1 to the predetermined position in the ink flow channel 5 is formed of a member of which the contact angle to the inner wall surface of ink is reversibly changed by the presence of the application of stimulation by the stimulation applying or removing means. |
