The cooler comprises a base unit in which a refrigeration unit (1) is installed to provide cooling to the cheese stored on the upper platform (5) which is covered by the top mounted bell jar (9). Electric power from a mains supply (8) is controlled by power switch (7) and temperature sensors (3) to actuate refrigeration. Openings (4) in the base allow cooling ventilation to the refrigeration unit.
