Electrocardiogram registration and recording procedure

The procedure comprises monitoring heart signals received from the heart via electrodes (2). This can be done automatically or after actuation of a button (8) located on the device (1). The signal is amplified and processed by a processor (15). The signal can be stored for later analysis, viewed on display (20) or transferred to a personal computer, downloaded via a modem or printed out on an electrocardiograph via leads (11).
