The invention relates to a seat comprising a combined lumbar support (108) and seat (202) with at least one depression that is adapted in such a way that it can serve as a support for the ischia of the user. Said depression can consist of a cavity (3, 103) with a curved edge, such as a bean-shaped cavity, or can be created by a shoulder (10) arranged inside the thickness of said seat (202). The lumbar support (108) can be formed by a support structure with an outer surface that is turned towards the user, whereby said outer surface has a concave profile on a horizontal plane and a convex profile on a vertical plane.
