The gasket is provided with a screw thread 51 and an inwardly projecting portion 52 located in a channel 53 running around the periphery of the base of the shell. The upper rim of the shell is curled inwardly into contact with the upper edge of the gasket. A vinyl based composition is suitable for making the gasket. |
