The invention concerns a secure telepayment method, by means of a mobile telephone (1) used by the purchaser (2), for an article and/or a service purchased by the buyer from a supplier (7). The mobile radiotelephone enables access to a radio communication network (5) managed by a management centre (6). A payment server (4) is connected to the radio communication network (5). The invention is characterised in that the method comprises a step which consists in identifying said purchaser (2) by said management centre (6) and/or by said payment server (4) and/or a control unit, the purchaser identification consisting in ensuring that the purchaser is a subscriber duly registered on the list of said radio communication network (5) subscribers. The method can further include a step which consists in authenticating said purchaser (2).
