An apparatus for filling a cartridge (10) having at least two compartments (24a, 24b) for storing fluid includes at least one reservoir (R) of fluid; a t least two metering pumps (P1, P2) connected to the at least one reservoir (R ) of fluid; at least two filling tubes (T1, T2) connected to the at least two metering pumps (P1, P2), respectively; wherein each filling tube (T1, T2) simultaneously fills one of the at least two compartments (24a, 24b) in the cartridge (10) with the fluid. The apparatus preferably includes a puck (30) which defines a substantially cylindrical cavity (32) and a pin (34) eccentrically disposed in the substantially cylindrical cavity (32) whereby the cartridge (10) may be inserted in the cavity (32) in the puck (30) and aligned by insertion of the pin (34) of the puck (30) in an eccentric throug h hole (22) of the cartridge (10). A rotary screw (100) engages the puck (30) and positions the cartridge (10) for sealing.
