An ornamental illumination for a car seat including head support in the form of a flexible elongated optic fibre (2) integrated into the visible surface has a light source provided at least at one end and/or a lighting device generating independent light. The optic fibre or the lighting device is a moulded-on strip (3) across the whole length or individual ones are moulded-on strips spaced apart from each other, sewn in and/or glued to the seat cover (1). The optic fibre and/or the lighting device is/are via plug- and/or snap-connecting devices in the Sstigt. The illumination is active only when the car is stationary and/or with the car door open, if applicable, with a time delay for switch-off when the door is closed. |
