<p>Aqueous preparations containing a hardly soluble drug, polysorbate and/or polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil and methyl cellulose and/or hydroxypropyl cellulose preferably together with polyethylene glycol; and reversibly heat-gelling aqueous preparations containing citric acid or its salt in addition to the above composition. These aqueous preparations little irritate living bodies when administered thereto. The reversibly heat-gelling aqueous preparations are excellent in gelling properties and gel at the body temperature of a mammalian. Thus, the bioavailability of the hardly soluble drug can be enhanced and the drug effect can be sustained over a prolonged period of time.</p> |
