The circuit has a current sensor which generates a current level indicator signal. A first comparator compares the current indicator signal with a first upper hysteresis band boundary signal. A second comparator compares the current indicator signal with a lower hysteresis band boundary signal. A driver circuit responds to the two comparators and a switch responds to the driver circuit to deliver current to the phase coil.
