The invention relates to a method for signal transmission via a radio interface in a radio communication system, wherein at least one radio channel is allocated for signal transmission between a first and a second radio station and at least one signal is transmitted via at least one transmission path. At least one characteristic value pertaining to transmission conditions on the radio interface is determined for each transmission path. A control signal is derived from the comparison of the corresponding characteristic values, said signal being used for individually selecting the transmission path for the radio channel to transmit a following signal.
