A translator has a linear drive (1), generating a bi-directional linear movement, connected to a rotor (3) via a transmission element (2). The transmission element is connected to the rotor by a movement-coupling element. The movement-generating element (1) can be controlled with different speeds for the forwards and backwards movements. The translator has a movement-coupling element which is provided with a coupling through friction pairing between transmission element (2) and rotor (3). The movement element (1) is provided with a coupling by magnetic elements between transmission element and rotor. Several drives are used in cascaded fashion and between the drives, damping elements are found. |
