<p>A method of manufacture of a nonwoven cellulose fabric involves the fibres being formed by extruding a solution of cellulose through at least one spinning jet and subjecting the extrudate fibre to a high velocity gas flow. The fibre passes through a vapour mist which at least partially coagulates the fibre prior to collection as a fibre web. By use of such method, a fabric having a high loft and a relatively low density may be obtained.</p> |
