SHEET CAPACITOR ELEMENT AND LAMINATED SOLID ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR

A laminated solid electrolytic capacitor superior in yield and performance is manufactured using sheet capacitor elements. A laminated capacitor element (19) comprises a plurality of sheet capacitor elements (7), each including positive electrodes (11) stacked one on another and bonded to a positive lead frame (9) and negative electrodes stacked on one another and bonded to a negative lead frame (8). The laminated capacitor element (19) is molded in a plastic package (23) to form a laminated solid electrolytic capacitor (25). The positive electrode (11) of the sheet capacitor element (7) is composed of the end of a positive electrode body (1) coated with an oxide dielectric layer (2). The negative electrode is composed of a solid electrolyte layer (4) formed on the oxide dielectric layer (2) and conductor layers (5, 6) on the layer (4) except on the positive electrode (11). The negative electrode preferably has the thickness S2 at its distal end greater than the thickness S1 at its proximal end.
