<p>First bridges (114, 115) interconnect buses (111, 112, 113) connected with at least one node to form a subnetwork (110), and second bridges (161 - 164) interconnect a plurality of such subnetworks (110, 120, 130, 140, 150) to form a network (100). A network manager selected among the subnetwork managers assigned for the respective subnetworks manages the address allocation for the subnetworks and the communication routing between subnetworks. The network management, including the selection of a network manager, is thus performed constantly in a proper manner.</p> |
