The device comprises an accommodation (3) and a tension device (7) for the frame, both adjustably arranged for adjustment of the spectacle frame (2) criteria. The adjustable criteria of the spectacle frame are the bow length (14), the bow bend (15), the nose bow (16), the inclined position (angle alpha ) of the lens accommodations (12) and the eye distance (20) of the spectacle support, taken individually, partly in common or wholly in common. The accommodation and the tension device are adjustable to an extent which is beyond the elasticity limit of the spectacle frame material. The tension device engages on the nose bow (16), the spectacle bow (13), and the lens accommodation (12). The accommodation may have at least one scale (18) for measuring the spectacle frame.
