SEPARATOR FOR ENCLOSED CELL

A separator for an enclosed cell having a strong adhesion to an electrode plate, contributing to the low internal resistance of the cell, hardly causing puncture due to repeated charging/discharging, and prolonging the life of the cell. Rubber small particles are made to adhere to the surface of the fibers of a nonwoven fabric constituting the separator, thereby allowing the particles to be present between the fibers. The rubber particles serve as elastic bodies, absorb relative displacements of the fibers, and improve the compression repulsion of the separator.
