The apparatus comprises a combustion oven (furnace) which is adapted for complete combustion, intended to supply the roasting cylinder with an adjustable portion of the burnt gases, which give rise to direct roasting in the cylinder, said gases then passing by means of a return pipe to an extraction fan (ventilator) and then to a cyclonic purifying device for separating out the dried husks and residue from roasting, the gases then being conveyed in a recycling operation back to the combustion oven. <IMAGE>
