Moving belt and drum filter suitable for recovery of metal working lubricants

An endless filter belt (2) travels around a drum (3) and guide rolls (4; 5; 6; 7) such that the drum is partially enclosed by the upper section of the belt to form a trough. The ends of the drum are closed by discs (9; 10) fitted with resilient, rubber tire seals (12;13), and lateral guidance for the drum is provided by an adjustable rail (16). The belt may be of mesh formed from wire or plastics filament, such as polyester, and if necessary a paper overlay may be used.
