Wireless switch detection system for automobile door or seat belt switch

The switch detection system (100) uses a central transmitter (109) to provide a transmitter signal. This is received by a switch position identification circuit associated with each remote switch. This provides the operating power for the circuit, and supplies an identification signal corresponding to the switch position, in the form of a code signal. An Independent claim for an automobile seat belt system is also included.
